IMPRESSUM: Essential errors to the proper functioning of this excellent FTdx3000d and had to report I found none!!!
I was very
happy with the little
previous transceivers,
the flaws were and still
are too many. A
good system but
was born under an unlucky
star. With its
scope can
facilitate the
absence of a second receiver, even
if I use it very little,

there are the seconds
receivers that are almost
unusable for
poor quality as
in many
recent and expensive
transceiver also.

!!!!!!! NONE NONE NONE NONE NONE NONE !!!!!! FTDX3000D SUPER TRANSCEIVER
DISCLAIMER: It is still a BASE transceiver and for what we have been able to verify, it's really a super RX, TX and for all phone, cw and data (fsk or AFSK) functionality! I think there are some constructive bugs, but they are not serious bugs that preclude it. Indeed, according to us for the price only has 100% merits!
IT WAS NOT ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY ANY special FW UPDATE With FTdx3000d, the company YAESU did a fantastic job! NOW, with the latest update Yaesu has entered with surprise a fantastic realtime WATERFALL update, color waterfall, added to the previous LINEAR SCOPE always on FTdx3000d that works in real time!

Implements improvements MAIN Firmware Version 01-25 (05/12/20) The update content is the parameter setting menu of the microphone equalizer (MIC EQ) in AM/FM mode.When the PROC is on, the microphone equalizer works properly.
NOTE: *After updating the firmware; please reset the transceiver using the following procedure: 1. Press and hold the [POWER] key on the front panel to turn the transceiver ON. 2. While the transceiver is ON, disconnect the DC power cable from the DC-IN connector on the rear panel and turn the transceiver OFF. 3. Press and hold the [FAST] and [LOCK] keys on the front panel, connect the power cable into the DC-IN connector on the rear panel and turn the transceiver ON. ________________________________ * The 5 MHz amateur band is updated for the FTDX3000 as follows: US / EXP / CHN / AUS versions 1. By pressing and holding the band key [14/5], the 5 MHz band can now be selected. 2. The three 5 MHz band stacks are called up by successively pressing and holding the [14/5] Band Key. (Transmission/Reception operation in 5 MHz band in each version does not change) UK version transceiver which can transmit 5 MHz in USB mode 1. By pressing and holding the band key [14/5], the 5 MHz band can now be selected. 2. The three 5 MHz band stacks are called up by successively pressing and holding the [14/5] Band Key. 3. VFO operation Transmit in all modes is now possible at frequencies of 5.250.0MHz - 5.406.5MHz. EU transceiver which can not currently transmit 5 MHz 1. By pressing and holding the band key [14/5], the 5 MHz band can now be selected. 2. Provides operation on the 5 MHz amateur band.
The 5 MHz amateur band is updated for the FTDX3000 as follows:
US / EXP / CHN / AUS versions 1. By pressing and holding the band key [14/5], the 5 MHz band can now be selected. 2. The three 5 MHz band stacks are called up by successively pressing and holding the [14/5] Band Key. (Transmission/Reception operation in 5 MHz band in each version does not change)

With this good firmware update surprise,
FTDX3000_MAIN (V0122) DSP (V0555) TFW (V0201) 2016_08 COLOR and << FTDX3000_MAIN (V0120) DSP (V0554) and TFT (V0109) 14072015 >>
Yaesu has entered on the TFT vision, both the previous overview "SPECTRUM SCOPE" a full WaterFall (WF) that takes up half the screen.
NOTE:
They always notice some delays in scrolling and a little slip of
WaterFall. Unfortunately there will be little to do since the CPU
computing is definitely full.
Price and quality
definitely incomparable and especially without defects!
This slowdown bug on analog smeter, has been greatly improved with the latest DSP 26012016 DSPv0555.
If YAESU can correct these three (now TWO) little things, it would also be great!
FTdx3000d is good JOB! Thanks YAESU!

Hi Franco, HB9OAB I am sorry for the delay of my response; I have been out of the office. Tokyo engineer confirmed your observation. As for the ALC meter summons in CAT command RM at the time of the service, an MAX level becomes 64. We think this is the result of circumstances of the internal processing operation, but this is not a problem that occurs in normal use; therefore we think that it is not a malfunction. If correction is needed it should be applied by the outside programming. Modifications to the radio could possibility cause operation incompatible with the CAT applications program of PCC-3000 and other third party software. No change is contemplated but may be considered in future products. Thank you for your observations.
